The Axis D6310 Air Quality Sensor is an all-in-one indoor air quality monitor and vape detector designed to help organisations improve indoor environments, enforce compliance and automate responses to air quality issues. Built with privacy in mind, it is suitable for sensitive areas where monitoring must be effective without compromising user privacy.
Smart Air Quality and Vape Detection
The D6310 monitors a wide range of indoor air quality indicators, including particulate matter, VOC, NOx, CO2, humidity, temperature, humidex and heat index. It can also detect vaping and smoking events, then trigger automated responses when defined thresholds are reached. This helps organisations manage air quality concerns and enforce vaping or smoking restrictions more efficiently.
Built-In Speaker, PIR Sensor and Visual Alerts
This compact device combines several functions in one unit. It includes a built-in speaker and microphone for two-way communication, a PIR sensor for presence detection and four multicolour LEDs for instant visual alerts. It also supports AXIS Audio Analytics for AI-based sound detection, including sounds such as screams, shouts and breaking glass. The microphone and audio analytics can be disabled when privacy requirements demand it.
Open Platform Integration
Built on AXIS OS, the D6310 integrates with Axis and third-party systems using VAPIX, MQTT, SIP and ACAP. It also supports PoE passthrough, allowing it to power another PoE device while operating from a single network connection. Live data can be viewed through a virtual stream, web browser or compatible VMS dashboard.
