The AXIS C8310 Speaker Volume Controller provides simple local control of compatible Axis network audio zones. Users can adjust the listening volume, mute the selected audio source or choose between up to three preconfigured sources directly from the wall-mounted control panel without needing access to management software.

It is particularly useful in environments where occupancy, background noise or activities regularly change, including retail stores, warehouses, cafeterias, community centres and common areas.

Simple Local Audio Control

Clearly marked buttons provide convenient control of volume up, volume down and mute functions, along with selection between three configured audio sources. Tactile feedback confirms each button press, while backlit controls indicate the currently selected source and mute status.

This allows staff to quickly adjust background music, television audio, laptop audio or other configured content according to local requirements.

Protects Paging and Important Announcements

The AXIS C8310 Speaker Volume Controller only adjusts the selected local audio source within its associated zone. Live announcements, scheduled announcements, paging and public address messages remain unaffected by local volume adjustments.

Administrators retain central control through compatible AXIS Audio Manager software, where available audio sources and maximum permitted volume levels can be configured. Device status and audio settings can also be monitored and adjusted remotely.

This provides local users with convenient day-to-day control while allowing administrators to maintain overall control of the network audio system.

Easy and Flexible Installation

Installation is straightforward, with the controller connecting directly to the I/O port of a compatible Axis network audio device within the associated zone.

An indicator confirms that the unit is connected and receiving power. A mounting frame is included for on-wall installation, and multiple controllers can be deployed throughout larger audio zones where convenient access is required in several locations.
