Algo 8507 IP Horn Array Speaker

The Algo 8507 IP Horn Array Speaker is a wideband, weather-resistant SIP speaker designed to deliver clear, intelligible audio in loud, reverberant environments. Installed vertically, it produces narrow vertical and wide horizontal coverage, and its seven horn speakers can reach volumes of up to 137dB.

Loud, Directional Audio

The 8507 uses seven high-powered horn speakers and suits large, noisy areas such as airports, warehouses and factories. Mounted vertically, its dispersion pattern directs sound where it is needed while helping to minimise feedback, reflections and uneven coverage.

For 360-degree coverage, units can be installed in outward-facing clusters around a central point, such as a pole.

Wideband Audio

The 8507 supports the G.722 HD voice codec. Wideband audio extends the frequency response, helping to improve the intelligibility of announcements and messages.

Algo 8507 IP Horn Array SpeakerBuilt for Outdoor Conditions

• IPX9 rating: protected against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets from any direction
• Operating temperature: -40°C to +50°C
• Modular design with wiring shroud: helps keep the cable connection sealed and reduces dirt and debris build-up at the connection point

SIP Integration and Management

The Algo 8507 IP Horn Array Speaker is SIP-compliant and designed to work with IP-based systems. Compared with analogue speakers, IP endpoints offer greater flexibility for customisation, scaling and day-to-day use.

The 8507 can be configured through the Algo web interface or ADMP, Algo’s cloud-based device management platform, which allows organisations to access endpoints remotely.

Flexible Mounting

The 8507 is mounted vertically and can be tilted downward from 5° to 35° in 5° increments, allowing the coverage area to be fine-tuned on site.

InformaCast Version Available

The 8507 is also available as the Algo 8507-IC, an InformaCast-compliant version designed to register with Singlewire InformaCast for emergency notification and public address. All features and specifications of the 8507 are retained in the 8507-IC.
